Acid reflux can be kept under check through proper diet

Acid reflux has become a common problem where many people experience sensation of heart burns, dysphagia, regurgitation, nausea and so on if it not diagnosed at the right moment to take the precautionary measures.

 

Lot of factors attribute to Acid reflux with food being the major source for the cause of this symptom. Acid reflux is mainly due to the body system becoming weak and the barrier in between the stomach and the esophagus not functioning properly leading the way to acid reflux that causes all kinds of discomfort to the person. Excess formation of acid in the stomach to burn food that refluxes back into the throat is usually what is understood by a common person. One needs to avoid certain foods that require excess secretion of acids in the stomach that leads to the situation. There is a whole lot of food that needs to be avoided to overcome acid reflux and it is always suggested that taking less intake of food 3 or 4 times a day would help reduce the acidity in stomach.

 

Upright position of the body gives some relief from acid reflux and intake of liquids like water and vegetable juices more of alkaline nature helps in reducing acid reflux.
